The Personal Automobile unit, a provider of non-standard automobile products, is disciplined to proactively manage all automobile programs through diligent review of results and an expertise in directing market-change strategies. Non-standard Automobile insurance provides coverage to drivers who, due to their driving record, age or vehicle type, represent higher than normal risks and pay higher rates for comparable coverage. We focus on helping customers overcome the difficulties of acquiring and maintaining continuous auto insurance coverage.
Hudson distributes its products exclusively through a network of independent brokers and agents.
Hudson’s California personal automobile business is underwritten by two program administrators, both of whom are recognized as industry leaders and provide high quality products through a solid producer base.
