Christopher Gallagher
President & Chief Executive Officer
Christopher L. Gallagher is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Insurance Group. He
assumed the position of President in April 2009. Chris joined Hudson from Chubb Re in November
2002 as Chief Underwriting Officer.
Prior to Chubb Re, he was Chief Underwriting Officer at Sirius American Insurance Company. Chris
began his career in reinsurance in 1986 and assumed positions of increasing responsibility at
New Zealand Reinsurance and the Reinsurance Corp of NY (RECO). He also managed the General
Casualty treaty team at Transatlantic Re where he was responsible for Auto, General Liability,
Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella and Clash business.

Executive Vice President, Chief Actuary & Technology Officer
Leslie W. Shore, FCAS is Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary of Hudson Insurance Group. Leslie joined Hudson in 2013 with more than 31 years of extensive experience as an actuary in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining the Hudson, she was the Chief P&C Actuary at CUNA Mutual Group, with oversight for homeowners, personal auto, commercial property and casualty, crop, fidelity, and D&O. She began her insurance career with USF&G in 1982 and assumed various roles of increasing responsibility with GEICO and Fireman’s Fund prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group in 2007.
Leslie holds a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from John Hopkins University.

Karen Colonna
Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Karen Colonna is Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Hudson Insurance Group joining Hudson from Fairfax affiliate, Allied World Insurance Company.
Karen has almost 30 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience, including 20 years as Deputy General Counsel of Allied World Insurance Company, its U.S. affiliates and Canadian branch. Prior to Allied World, Karen worked for AIG, SOREMA Re and Edwards Angell LLP (now part of Troutman Pepper Locke).
